My cute little Abigail loves the ipads, any kind of tablet or hand held device... She has been taking her leap pad in her room at night to play until she fell asleep. Very priceless that she fell asleep with the stylus in hand!

Soccer Saturday

Monkey Bar Damage!

Gracelyn Loves the monkey bars... However, tonight was the evidence of a monkey bar crash.  Her hands slipped and she face placed it on the swings and wood chips ... causing face and arm abrasions!!  After some tears she was back at it again!

Princess Party

Gracelyn all dressed up to go to a "real" princess birthday party! She is wearing her Rapunzel dress!

Gracelyn Gets A Perm!

Gracelyn is lucky to have hair with some curl... She has become scared of the flat iron with getting burned....so since her curl needs some help and since her hair is so fine we decided to perm it.... Now her hair has an even curl! Lucky kid to get professional salon services at six years old.

 

 Updated...  Here are the "after" perm pictures.  I almost was expecting a drastic change however... it is not.  Looks like how it did when we curled her hair with what natural curl she had... Just a more even curl that HOLDS and does not fall out with time!!  She likes it curly, I just think she likes the idea of NO straight iron since she is scared of the flat iron!

Belly Sleeper

Now that she can roll over she is enjoying sleeping on her belly!

Fingers make everything better!

Falling asleep with both hands in her mouth makes life perfect.  Avalena loves to chew on her hands.  She has her hands in her mouth all the time.  Her doctor thought she may be teething but....nope.... just busy hands!

New Toy

Avalena is starting to not like the swing.... She is almost too big for her bouncer...so on to the jumper toys.  She enjoyed hanging out in the jumper a while.

The first full Chinese chart!

This is Gracelyn's Chinese Chart from School.  They earn stickers when they do and say things right in her Chinese class.  She has been working so hard to get her chart full.  She was very proud today to show me her full chart.  When they fill their chart up the get a prize.  She picked out the red Chinese ring that is to the left in the picture. Great job Gracelyn!

Avalena has been working real hard to ROLL OVER!!!.  Well while I was folding clothes this afternoon... She was trying real hard.  Got my phone and captured her first successful attempt to roll over!   Won't be long before she is mobile!!!

Kids Say The Silliest Things!

So it always seems that when young kids go to school and when you pick them up and ask what they did in school....the response is..."nothing"! Well today we asked her what she learned in preschool today.... she responded...... "Everything"!

Most Likely our Last Swim day of the Season!

We have had a great year of swimming.  It is always sad to see a year come to an end but, it is starting to grow cooler. ... The sure sign is when mom has to start heating the pool so we can swim.!  We are so grateful that Me Ma and Grandpa Martinez have a pool!

Abigail's First Day of Pre-School

Today was Abigail's first day at school. She was so excited the last half hour before she had to go she asked every few minutes if it was time to go yet!  She was so proud and happy to be going to school like her big sister does! Hope she has a great 1st day.
